A truly peaceful place......tranquil and quiet.
Nestled in the hills north of Silves, in the Faro district of the Algarve region in southern Portugal.
It is located far enough away to be undisturbed by town life and the tourist traps, yet close enough to enjoy the best the Algarve coast has to offer.
The venue is a 40 hectare estate containing it’s own private lakes, a river and groves of olive, tangerine, orange and mandarin. The estate is hilly and has many lovely walks, from strolls to challenging hikes.

Organic and Offline
Another very appealing aspect of Conscious Earth is that we have no wifi internet and limited-to-no mobile phone signal.
Perfect for unplugging and having a deeply chilled out experience!
In addition no artificial fertilisers or similar materials have been used on this land for twenty years and all of our land management is based on organic and permaculture practices where possible.
All of our fruit is available to you when in season.
We have constructed as much of Conscious Earth from materials available on the estate as possible and have created a rustic, down to earth venue for those whose primary concern is closeness to nature and relaxation therein.
As we are far away from the nearest towns and in the hills there is no ambient light pollution, so it is perfect spot for Dark Sky epic star gazing.
Freedom in Nature
Our Lakes are for swimming and paddling, they are pristine in their natural state, being unpolluted by agricultural chemicals. They are abundant with fish and turtles, as well as other wildlife and fantastic Water Lillies.
All of our estate is available to you, whether you choose to walk the boundaries, kickback in Hammock Island or sit within the stone circle…..or just lay back next to one of our freshwater spring fed lakes you will find places to truly reconnect with nature and yourself.
Though nestled in the hills away from the hustle and bustle, enjoy day trips to some of the most picturesque beaches in the world. We are only a short drive from the Algarvian coast and can recommend all the best spots!
We are Just 7kms from the medieval city of Silves, complete with its small cobbled streets hugging close to the Moorish 8th century castle. A wealth of traditional sites, restaurants, and bars await your arrival.
